Stanley-Garrison & Associates is a Texas political consulting firm with staff in Austin and Houston. We are widely recognized for our accomplishments in fund-raising. We also offer general consulting services focused on helping our clients get the most out of their campaign budgets.

Our firm served nine candidates running in the 2008 general election, seven of whom were elected or re-elected. We played significant roles in two crucial Texas House races in which Democrats picked up what had been Republican seats. Stanley-Garrison managed all fund-raising for Diana Maldonado from Williamson County and helped Joe Moody with most of his fund-raising outside of his El Paso district. The firm served as fund-raising and general consultant to Judge Jim Coronado, helping him defeat a Republican incumbent to become the first Hispanic elected to a criminal district court in Travis County.

Alfred Stanley is one of the most accomplished political fund-raisers in Texas with 30 years experience. His areas of expertise include message development, communications, budgeting and graphic design. His past and present clients include many of Austin's most successful Democratic and progressive elected officials. He has been involved in campaigns from Maine to California and in every part of the Lone Star State. He holds a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Texas and an undergraduate degree in design from Dartmouth College.

Scott Garrison has more than 16 years experience working in Democratic politics.  His areas of expertise include fund-raising, voter targeting, list development, and long-term strategic planning.  As a political professional he has worked on statewide and congressional campaigns—in most cases as Finance Director—in Georgia, Alabama, New York, Connecticut, and Oregon. Scott has lived and worked in Austin since 1999; he is a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of Texas.
